The short version
- If your firm has signed an agreement with Caldris, that agreement comes first.
- Your firm owns its data and what Caldris produces from it.
- Caldris supports professionals. It does not give advice or act on any account.
- AI can be wrong. Check the sources Caldris attaches before you rely on an answer.
These terms
These terms cover your use of caldrisai.com and of the Caldris product at app.caldrisai.com (together, “the service”), provided by Caldris AI, based in New York (“Caldris”, “we”, “us”).
If your firm has signed an agreement with Caldris, that agreement governs your firm’s use of the product and comes first wherever the two differ. By using the service you accept these terms. If you use it for a firm, you confirm that you may accept them on its behalf.
Your account
Caldris accounts are issued to firms and the people who work for them. Keep your sign-in details to yourself, use the service only for your firm’s work, and tell us at once at ask@caldrisai.com if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens under it.
Your firm’s data
Your firm keeps all rights to the information it brings into Caldris and to what Caldris produces from it. Your firm lets us use that information only to provide, secure and support the service, as our Privacy Policy explains. We never use it to train AI models.
Your firm confirms that it has the right to bring that information into Caldris.
Not advice
Caldris helps professionals research, organize and draft their work. It does not give investment, tax, legal or accounting advice, and it does not trade, move money or act on any account.
What Caldris produces is for a qualified professional to review. Your firm remains responsible for the advice it gives and the decisions it makes.
AI and market data
Caldris uses AI, and AI can make mistakes. Caldris attaches its sources so you can check its work: check them before you rely on an answer.
Market prices in the product come from third-party sources, are delayed, and are for information only.
Fair use
Please do not:
- use the service in a way that breaks the law or the rights of others;
- bring in information you have no right to share;
- try to reach accounts, data or parts of the service you are not allowed to;
- test, scan or overload the service, or get around its security;
- copy, resell or reverse engineer the service, or use it to build a competing product.
Our property
The service, including its software, design, content and the Caldris name and logo, belongs to Caldris and its licensors. These terms let you use the service as described; they give you no other rights to it.
If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them freely.
Other services
The service can connect to services run by others, such as Google. Your use of them follows their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.
Changes and availability
We improve Caldris continually and may add, change or remove features. We work to keep the service available, but cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or free of errors.
Suspension and ending
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken, or to protect the service, its users or Caldris.
Sections that by their nature should last, such as ownership, disclaimers and limits of liability, still apply after access ends.
Disclaimers
Unless a signed agreement says otherwise, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows.
Limits of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Caldris is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees your firm paid Caldris for the service in the 12 months before the claim, or US$100 if it paid nothing.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, and disputes will be heard in the state and federal courts in New York County, New York.
Changes to these terms
When we change these terms, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will tell you before it takes effect. Using the service after that means you accept the new terms.
